Synthetic wig is tangled/frizzy?
I bought my wig about a month ago and since then have put it in warm water about 3 times to help straighten it out. i've combed it, and hair has come out in the process, naturally. i've put hairspray and hair gel to keep some parts down. it's a pretty long wig, it reaches about half way down my back.
question is, is that my wig gets tangles really easily now, when it didn't used to at first.
how can i control this?
should i set it in cold-ish water?
what should i do?

yeah, i know, it's a cosplay wig, sorry i didn't mention that...
i don't wear it very often, but when i do, it tangles pretty easily.

You should put your wig in the sink, fill it up with cold water and let the wig soak for about 10 minutes.
Then, put some conditioner in the sink while it has the water in there...
While the wig is still soaking and conditioned, comb it with wide-tooth comb. Release the water, and put it on your wring stand wet. You might wanna put a towel under it. Don't wring it out, as that causes more tangles.
Put a bit of olive oil.. a TINY bit. on the wig while it's still soaked wet, and keep combing it with the comb until it's not dripping anymore.
Wait for it to dry. When it is dry, shake it gently, then comb it from the "roots" of the wig, to the ends.

One of the WORST things you can do to a synthetic wig is put hairspray and gel to it (unless it is especially for wigs) the hair is made out of plastic, therefore, it is easily to break and get tangled. Hairspray does nothing but bond the fibers together, making it hard to untangle.

As for shedding, there isn't much you can do.. There are better quality wigs that don't shed, yet are still cheap. Here's the link http://www.hairsisters.com/ver2/
